MW Audio MM-2150: 3″ Dome Infinity Copy Midrange

Great overall sounding midrange for any home audio application, but main design is for Infinity Kappa series speakers. We believe our MM-2150 midrange surpasses the overall tonal quality of all these older Infinity mids. The dome is a cloth fabric and will not get old and brittle like the original Infinity polydomes. We had our midrange designed to replace the Infinity 902-3075 midrange which is 4 ohms. It is a perfect drop in replacement with no modification needed. In comparison, our midrange is a little brighter, so you may have to dial back the L-pad for the midrange on the crossover. Be careful of others selling a different brand that is 8 ohms, the Infinity crossovers are designed for 4 ohm mids. This midrange is not sealed just like the original Infinity, it has holes perforating the back plate under the felt and must be chambered when mounting in the same air space with a woofer.
