MW Audio MW-5060: 6.5″ Woofer
Available in 4 or 8 ohms.
This woofer features a polypropylene cone with santoprene rubber surround. Great replacement for JBL, Infinity and Boston Acoustic A40 series 1 woofers.
4 ohm:
– The 4 ohm woofer is a great replacement for the Boston Acoustics A40 series I woofer ONLY. The original A40 series 1 woofers has been discontinued from Boston Acoustics. All the specs and parameters were copied to ensure similar sound and exact physical fit. Same impedance (Re: 3.5 ohm), basket size and screw holes, so you do not have to modify the cabinet at all. The outside diameter is 6.57″. The A40 series II woofer is similar, but the screw hole mounting is completely different and the outside diameter is 6.875″. The series is notated on the back of the cabinet by the terminal cup.
– Also a great replacement for many Infinity models that use 6.5″ woofers.
8 ohm:
– Great replacement for many JBL models that use 6.5″ woofers and many more brands.
