Carver Amazing Platinum IV 12″ Refoam Kit
These woofers have a flat attachment to the cone. This kit will fit Carver Amazing Platinum IV (flat silver cone) Edition speakers that has 4 woofers in each cabinet. This kit will NOT fit the Amazing Platinum woofers that have a standard looking cone. Check for correct dimensions.
Each Refoam Kit includes all the materials needed to repair eight (8) speakers:
– Refoaming Instructions
– 8 Foam Surrounds (F12-11)
– 3 Tubes of Specially Formulated Foam Surround Adhesive
*There is no way to center the voice coils on these woofers with shims because of the flat cone, so you will have to center these by hand and feel.
A – Outside diameter of the surround = 11.625″
B – Roll ends = 10.625″
C – Roll starts / O.D. of the cone = 9.25″
D – Inside diameter of the surround = 8.75″
