JBL Refoam Kit for the TLX171 Speaker
This kit will fit JBL 4.5″ midranges and the 8″ narrow roll woofers that have an angled attachment to cone. These woofers have unique narrow roll surrounds that generic surrounds will not fit. Check for correct dimensions.
Each Refoam Kit includes all the materials needed to repair four (4) speakers:
– Refoaming Instructions
– Two 4.5″ Foam Surrounds (F4-7)
– Two Narrow Roll 8″ Foam Surrounds (F8-12)
– 1 Bottle of Specially Formulated Foam Surround Adhesive (Dries Clear)
4.5″ Midrange:
A – Outside diameter of the surround = 4.31″
B – Roll ends = 3.75″
C – Roll starts / O.D. of the cone = 3.06″
D – Inside diameter of the surround = 2.75″
8″ Woofer:
A – Outside diameter of the surround = 8.125″
B – Roll ends = 7.125″
C – Roll starts / O.D. of the cone = 6.5″
D – Inside diameter of the surround = 6″
