JBL 6.5″ Refoam Kit
This kit fits the JBL 86160-0W270 (Lexus), 86160-0W340 and 86160-08110 (Toyota) 6.5″ car speakers. This is not a generic surround, it is specifically made for this speaker.
Each Refoam Kit includes all the materials needed to repair two (2) speakers:
– Refoaming Instructions
– 2 Foam Surrounds
– 1 Bottle of Specially Formulated Foam Surround Adhesive
*It can be difficult to remove the dust caps on these woofers. We recommend hand centering them instead of shimming the voice coil when replacing the foam surround. When the glue is still tacky you can move the cone up and down. If you feel or hear the voice coil rubbing, just keep moving the cone assembly until it is free of rubbing.
A – Outside diameter of the surround = 6.05″
B – Roll ends = 5.5″
C – Roll starts / O.D. of the cone = 4.375″
D – Inside diameter of the surround = 4.04″
