MW Audio MT-4112: Advent Copy Tweeter
Brand New!!! These are new current production stock. Advent has discontinued the 85C00019 tweeter many years ago and we now have a great replacement. All the specs and parameters were copied as close as possible to ensure similar sound and physical fit. Same impedance (4.3 ohms), face plate and screw holes, so you do not have to modify the cabinet at all.
Advent speaker models:
– Maestro, Large 25th Anniversary, A1052, 6003 and more. It will also fit the 4002, 5002, 5012/W, but some of these magnets are square, so you will need to enlarge the hole a little bit to fit the new round magnet.
Advent tweeter part #’s:
– P85C00019, 85C00019, 99-20402 and more.
* This tweeter is also a good replacement for the orange and green “Fried Egg” tweeter used in the older Original Advent Large, A3, A4, Small, Smaller and a few other models, but some modifications are needed. The “Fried Egg” tweeter has a square magnet and our tweeter has a round magnet, so you need to slightly enlarge the hole cut out in the cabinet. Also, the screw holes are close, but you will need to either angle all the screws or use new screw holes. Once these are installed you will have upgraded the tweeter and have greatly increased the frequency response. We recommend replacing these in pairs so they are matched.
